The Sigma LensArt 50mm/1.4 DG HSM, Canon EF is a high-performance lens designed for state-of-the-art Canon cameras. Constructed with 13 elements in 8 groups, the 50mm lens employs Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass and Sigma’s Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) to ensure high speed, quiet and accurate autofocusing. The floating system corrects for astigmatism, and the Super Multi-Layer Coating minimizes flare and ghosting, delivering high contrast images even in backlit conditions.

The lens barrel is constructed using Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material which performs well in varying temperatures, the brass made bayonet mount adds strength and precision. Lastly, the lens compatible with Sigma’s USB DOCK for firmware updates and micro adjustments to the focusing parameter.
